Spring is always a busy time preparing the fields in order to provide great cover for fall hunting.

This year we will be doing a controlled burn (hopefully a controlled burn) in Mindy’s Meadow, Duncan’s Domain, Woody’s Watch and Abby’s Alley.

By burning the established fields, this will help to stimulate the germination for thicker growth of the prairie grasses.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate and burning should be underway the end of April.
